Crawfish n’ Boatdog

Crawfish n' Boatdog

The nature photographer became so excited hunting these crawfish burrows that he didn’t realize the hunter had become the prey with shocking results. Strangely, these “mudbugs” sometimes leave their normal watery world to form a burrow on boggy land. This leaves them with no food source and they use up their fat (the tails we like to suck) leaving an empty void until they can replenish their succulent carapaces for us to feast on with plenty of spiced corn, taters and VooDoo Lager.
