What a gifted teacher of photography.

DSC_6771The maestro pointing out the business end of the camera. I can’t remember all of what I learned at his “college of photo knowledge”  because it was just all too much to absorb in the short time we had together. Suffice it to say that I will never look at pictures in the same way again. It was all just so fast paced that I can’t remember all the wisdom that was gifted to me. A mere fragment that did stick to my ribs was the advice that I should throw the camera off the cliff and just keep my images in my imagination. His seminar was so fast paced that I am still trying to make sense of it all in my head. I was also profoundly impressed by his suggestion that I give up my silly ideas concerning my persistence in attempting to actually sell pictures to my ” clients”. To quote my teacher, “They ain’t worth nothing anyway!”

You know I’m just yanking your chain Bro
